in General Information and Configuration Tags: IGM factory default

Located on all IGMs the Factory Default button can be used to reset the module or to perform a full factory default.

When holding the button for 5 seconds the four status LEDs will flash off and back on. This is acting as a power cycle on the module.

After holding the button for a total of 10 seconds the LEDs will flash off for a second time. Once you see this LED sequence the IGM has been factory defaulted. The main reason for factory defaulting an IGM is that the IGM has been powered up before it has been registered to the account it is intended to work on. The IGM will not check for these changes therefore the initial process to connect must be started over.

NOTE: Factory defaulting RE926 models will loose wifi credentials.
