If the following LEDs are not lit:

Power – should be flashing slowly to indicate power is present.  If not, check wiring and verify the daughter board is mounted securely to the baseboard of the IGM.

GSM/CDMA/LOCAL/WIFI – indicates connection to local cell tower or Ethernet.

IP Module – LOCAL LED: If not lit, Check the Ethernet cable that is connecting the IGM to the router; swap with a cable that is known to be good and cycle power on the system (or perform a soft reset on the IGM. See manual for details).  If there is still no connection with a known-good cable, try connecting to a known-good router (this eliminates physical problems with the router port, as well as rare cases where a router configuration is locked down to not allow new devices to connect).  The known-good router need not be connected to the internet, but it does need power.  If the “Local” light will not come on when a known-good cable connects to a known-good router, then the IGM should be replaced.

WIFI Module – WIFI LED: If not lit, see details in “IGM Installation Techinical Information”

GSM/CDMA Module – GSM/CDMA LED: if not lit, Verify at least 2 signal strength bars are lit.  If not click HERE

CS LED – indicates connection to the central station.  If the GSM/CDMA/Local/Wifi LED (depending on module type) is lit but the CS LED is not:

        1. For an IP Module installation, verify the router has a connection to the internet.
        2. Verify that this IGM is properly configured with the registration server.
        3. Verify that this account is properly configured in the dealer portal.

If registration information changes after the IGM is powered the IGM must be factory defaulted.

Platform LED

      1.  indicates connection to the interactive services server
        1. For an IP Module installation, verify the router has a connection to the internet.
        2. Verify that this IGM is properly configured with the registration server.
        3. Verify that this account is properly configured in the dealer portal.

If registration information changes after the IGM is powered the IGM must be factory defaulted.

Additionally if theRed and Green LEDs on the baseboard are not lit:

Green – ON, when the board is powered and running.  If OFF, check system wiring and measure voltage on IGM terminal block between +12V and GND.  If it is 12Vdc and the Green LED is not lit, replace the IGM.

Red – blinks when module talks to the panel (blinks constantly for DSC)

  1. To verify the master code is not out of sync, look in the user portal “Alarm Control” tab.  “master code out of sync” would appear in the  “System Status.”  If it is out of sync,  login to the panel with the contact that is associates with the master user (create one if it doesn’t exist) and set it to match the master code programmed into the panel.  If it already matches, then change it to 1234, wait 30 seconds, then change it back to the code that is programmed into the panel.
  2. See the IGM manuals for the list of supported panels.
