The ability to link camera recordings to alarms as well as arm/disarm commands had a wide range of uses. The following screen shots will demonstrate the ability to link cameras to specific sensors or commands.

To start out you will need to log into the dealer portal and select the account desired. Then from the left hand side choose ‘camera.’

The Link to Alarms function is unique to each camera in the system. Select the blue and white panel icon from the menu options above the camera you’re attempting to link.

The next page will then give the follow options as to what you can link the camera recordings to.

Link to sensors gives the option to set a camera recording when specific sensor or sensors are triggering an alarm condition. This should be determined by what sensors would be in view of the camera. Simply click the box next to the sensor name to associate the sensor with the camera.

Recording on arms and disarms gives the opportunity to record activity when the system receives an arming or disarming command. Both arms and disarms can be checked. This is best utilized when a camera is near a keypad. Check the box for desired operation.

Camera recording method allows the ability for FTP recording. Enabling this feature will give you a full video of the event. The event video is comprised of 15 seconds before the event and 15 seconds after the event occurred.

Be sure to SAVE all changes at the bottom for them to take effect.
