With IGMs it is particularly important that customers understand how to change their user codes, especially the master code. This is because the gateway will not be able to communicate with the panel if it does not know the master code, and therefore the code should be changed on the website. The Helix panel follows the same procedure to make changes.

Sign into the user portal with a user that has “Master” privileges. Click the word “Contacts” under the account section. Now you can select from the list of contacts you have for this account. Click the edit button or pencil icon. This menu will give you a full list of user preferences such as contact info, authority level and arming level. In the field that says PIN, type in the code you wish you use going forward. Hit SAVE back at the top of the screen to ensure the code gets written to the panel. Test your new PIN.
